YALTA
The YALTA initiative is the Agroecology & Business learning track for youth in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. “We have the ambition to realise the transition towards sustainable food systems with solid business opportunities for youth.It is a project sponsored by IKEA foundation and implemented by Netherlands Food Partnership and hosted by Africa Agribusiness Academy in Kenya.
PrAEctiCe
The vision of PrAEctiCe is to help smallholder farmers in their agroecological transition by exploring the potential of agroecological practices in East Africa. PrAEctiCe aims to provide a novel agroecology indicator set focusing on circular water-energy-nutrient systems of integrated aqua-agriculture while keeping the smallholder farmer’s needs at the centre.
